Installation & Maintenance

Installation:

1. Shut off the gas supply at the main valve.

2. Locate a suitable installation point downstream of the gas meter but upstream of the appliance.

3. Install using the 1/2" NPT threaded connections (use gas-approved pipe sealant).

4. Check for leaks using a soapy water solution before restoring gas flow.

5. Professional installation is recommended for all natural gas lines.

Maintenance:

• Inspect the filter cartridge every 6 months.

• Replace the cartridge annually (Part # NG-APF-9000-R) or when the pressure drop exceeds 1.0 PSI.

• Do not attempt to clean and reuse the filter media.
