ZRB Basket Filter

The ZRB basket filter is a small piece of equipment used to remove small amounts of solid particles from liquids. It comes in various designs to suit different applications. One such design is the Straight Flow Basket Strainer with formed head, which offers a streamlined flow path and a robust structure. This type of strainer is mainly composed of a connecting pipe, main cylinder, flange, flange cover, filter basket, and fasteners.

When the fluid enters the filter basket with a certain specification, such as those found in the Cast Iron Basket Strainer or Special alloys Basket Strainer, its impurities are blocked, and the clean fluid passes through the filter basket and is discharged from the filter outlet. The Cast Iron Basket Strainer is ideal for applications where a cost-effective and durable solution is needed, while the Special alloys Basket Strainer is designed for more demanding environments where resistance to corrosion or high temperatures is required.

When cleaning is required, the process is as follows: close the inlet and outlet valves of the equipment to halt the flow of fluid. Then, unscrew the bottom discharge port of the equipment to drain the residual liquid inside the cylinder. Next, remove the fasteners of the equipment flange cover to access the filter basket. Whether you are maintaining a Straight Flow Basket Strainer with formed head or a standard Straight Flow Basket Strainer, the cleaning procedure is similar. Take out the filter basket, clean it to remove any accumulated debris, and then reinstall it, ensuring the continued efficiency and performance of the ZRB basket filter.
