Structural Characteristics of ZSJ-ES Polyethersulfone Foldable Filter Cartridge

The ZSJ-ES polyethersulfone foldable filter cartridge is a high-performance filtration solution that leverages advanced materials and technology. The Polyether sulfone membrane folding filter element is a series of membrane materials composed of German polyether sulfone filter membrane and imported guide layer, which has excellent heat resistance and chemical resistance. The center rod and end cover of the shell are made of polypropylene material, and the filter element is formed using hot melt welding technology as a whole. The upstream and downstream support materials, support frames, and structural components are made of polypropylene. The sealing materials are made of silicone rubber, nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, and fluororubber, which are pollution-free and have no medium detachment.

The Polyether Sulfone Foldable Filter Element adopts a double-layer polypropylene material folding structure, with an inner layer of polypropylene film as the final filtering layer and an outer layer of non-woven fabric with a pore size of up to the standard as the coarse filtering layer, which plays a pre-filtering role. The inner and outer brackets are made of polypropylene material; therefore, the filter element is a combination of pre-filtration and final filtration.

Before leaving the factory, bubble point testing and bacterial challenge testing are performed on each filter element to ensure 100% retention efficiency. The natural hydrophilic polyethersulfone material ensures the high filtration flux of the filter element. Advantages and Disadvantages of ZSJ-ES

Advantages:

• The discounted structure has a large filtration area, low initial pressure difference, fast flow rate, small filter volume, and low cost.
• Due to the combination of pre-filtration and final filtration, the filter cartridge has a larger capacity for holding pollutants.
• The service life is longer than that of a single aperture filter element.
• A single pure polypropylene material makes it easy to determine its chemical compatibility.

Disadvantages:

• Due to the folding of the filter layer paper, the working pressure generally cannot exceed 0.3 Mpa.
• If the pressure exceeds, there is expansion of the micropores, and the solid is easy to penetrate the filter.
• Especially when the working temperature is above 60 ℃, the backwash effect is not ideal.
