Flat top conical filters, such as the Flat top conical filter, are a type of filter used to filter solid particles contained in liquid or gas media during the petrochemical production process. They ensure the normal operation of the pump and meet the requirements of petrochemical enterprises by effectively removing contaminants.
The temporary filter, also known as a TEMPORARY STRAINER, installed on the pump inlet pipeline for safety production needs is composed of a filter frame, Filter Screen, and sealing ring. This type of filter is crucial for maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the petrochemical process. The filter frame is made of cold-rolled steel plate and is evenly distributed, providing a strong and durable structure.
The conical sintered filter, or cone filter, is another variation that offers a high level of filtration. It is characterized by an orifice plate with a hole diameter that is rolled into a conical platform shape. One end of the small end is sealed with a circular punched plate, and the other end is welded with a flange sealing ring connected by a clamp. These filters have a corresponding mesh size of silk screen set on the inner or outer surface of the filter frame.
When the fluid enters the filter, such as the conical sintered filter or the Flat top conical filter, the solid particles within are blocked, and the clean filtrate can pass through the mesh and flow into the other end of the pipeline, entering the lower part of the process. This ensures that only clean and filtered media continue through the system.
A product like the TEMPORARY STRAINER generally has two flow directions according to different working conditions. When installed in a straight pipe section, it flows left and right, and when installed at an elbow, it flows from the top to the bottom. This flexibility in design allows for the cone filter to be adapted to various system configurations, providing efficient filtration in a range of industrial settings.
