The G03 self-cleaning filter, also referred to as a Self cleaning filter, is equipped with a differential pressure controller protection and monitoring system. The cleaning process is initiated by a pressure differential switch or sensor that continuously monitors the pressure difference between the filter's inlet and outlet. Generally, the preset value of the pressure differential switch is 0.5 bar (7 psi).

Operational Principle

The working principle of the Zerru mechanical cleaning filter is very simple: a Filter Screen (2) is installed inside a cylindrical stainless steel shell (1). When the unfiltered liquid enters the shell through the inlet (3), solid impurities are filtered out and deposited on the inner surface of the filter screen. Finally, the filtrate flows out from the outlet (4). When the filter requires cleaning (based on time, pressure difference, or manual selection), a spring-tightened cleaning plate continuously scrapes the inner surface of the filter back and forth to remove accumulated solid impurities. When the debris separates from the gaps in the filter screen, the cleaning plate sends the dirt into the bottom of the housing (6) and discharges the filter through the flow channel (7).
