Application and Features

This series of self-cleaning filters is suitable for pipeline selections ranging from DN25 to DN900. Its Fully Automatic Cleaning Filter feature ensures uninterrupted filtration during cleaning cycles. The filter offers continuous fluid flow, easy maintenance, and reliable operation, making it widely applicable across all industries. The automatic cleaning process is triggered by a pressure differential switch or pressure sensor that constantly monitors the pressure difference between the inlet and outlet of the filter, typically set at a preset value of 0.5 bar (7 psi). The Scraper self-cleaning filter's operation principle is simple: a scraper, either inside or outside the filtering element, continuously removes solid material deposition from the screen’s surface, ensuring the filter remains effective over time.

Operational Principle

The working principle involves liquid flowing in from the filter's inlet, moving from top to bottom through the surface of the Filter Element to the outlet. When a certain amount of impurities accumulates on the filter element, the scraper of the motor-driven assembly rotates tightly against the filter element's surface to scrape off the impurities. These impurities accumulate in the collection chamber along with the downward liquid. Once a certain amount of impurities has accumulated, the automatic drain valve opens the collection chamber to discharge the liquid containing high-concentration impurities. The residual liquid can be recovered or discharged. Note: An inner scraping type refers to the scraper being inside the filter element, whereas an outer scraping type refers to the scraper being outside the filter element.
